Abstract

Hepatitis B is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis B virus. In addition to liver damage, the disease can also affect other organs. For the kidneys, hepatitis B virus often causes glomerular damage and can lead to nephrotic syndrome. Diagnosing and treating glomerular diseases associate with hepatitis B virus remain challenging. In this article, we present the case of a 31 years old female patient with nephrotic syndrome related to hepatitis B virus, successfully treated at Thai Nguyen National Hospital.
