Đặt vấn đề: Nhiễm khuẩn tiết niệu là một trong những bệnh nhiễm trùng do vi khuẩn phổ biến nhất ở trẻ em, triệu chứng đa dạng không đặc hiệu, tỷ lệ mắc bệnh thay đổi theo độ tuổi. Mục tiêu: Mô tả đặc điểm lâm sàng, cận lâm sàng bệnh nhiễm khuẩn tiết niệu ở trẻ từ 2 tháng đến 5 tuổi tại khoa Nhi - Bệnh viện Đa khoa tỉnh Quảng Ninh. Phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 48 trẻ từ 2 tháng đến 5 tuổi tại tỉnh Quảng Ninh từ tháng 1/2024 đến tháng 10/2024. Kết quả: Tỷ lệ nhiễm khuẩn tiết niệu gặp nhiều ở trẻ nữ chiếm đa số là 64,6%; tỷ lệ nam/ nữ: 1/2; tuổi trung bình là 26,25 ± 18,72 tháng. Triệu chứng lâm sàng có 97,9% sốt; 25,0% sốt kèm theo rét run; 41,7% mệt mỏi, đái nhiều lần (4,2%), đái đau/ khóc khi đi tiểu (6,3%). Xét nghiệm máu: Số lượng bạch cầu trung bình 15,27 ± 6,60 (G/L); bạch cầu hạt trung tính 56,18 ± 19,30%; CRP trung bình là 85,57 ± 61,59 (mg/l). Xét nghiệm nước tiểu: 100% trẻ có bạch cầu niệu dương tính; 85,4% nitrit dương tính; 50,0% có hồng cầu niệu dương tính. Cấy nước tiểu dương tính là 10,4%; trong đó gặp E.coli (60,0%), E.facecalis (40,0%). Kết luận: Tỷ lệ nhiễm khuẩn tiết niệu gặp nhiều ở trẻ nữ. Triệu chứng lâm sàng gặp nhiều ở trẻ sốt cao kèm rét run, tiểu nhiều lần/khóc khi đi tiểu. Xét nghiệm máu có số lượng bạch cầu tăng, CRP tăng, xét nghiệm nước tiểu đều có bạch cầu niệu dương tính, nguyên nhân chủ yếu vẫn là E.coli.
